Masashi Ihara
After graduating from Keio University, began a career at Nikko Securities (now SMBC Nikko Securities) in 1990, spending ten years in the Corporate Finance Division specializing in IPO advisory.
From 2000, worked in the Investment Banking Division of Nikko Salomon Smith Barney (later Nikko Citigroup), leading IPOs, capital raising for listed companies, and government privatization deals.
From 2009, held leadership roles in the ECM and IPO departments at SMBC Nikko Securities, including Head of the First Corporate Division, Head of the First Private Corporate Division, and Deputy Head of the Private Corporate Finance Department.
With over 35 years of continuous experience in corporate finance, has led numerous IPOs across various industries.
Appointed General Partner at Incubate Fund in March 2025.
