Koichi has worked at ORIX, Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley, and George Soros' PE fund (IHG) in the US.
He then moved to Singapore where he engaged in VC as the Head of Southeast Asia Investment at IMJ Investment Partners.
In 2015, Koichi established KK Fund, a VC firm specializing in seed-stage investments in Southeast Asia, and became its representative partner.
Koichi earned his MBA from IE Business School, Spain. He is a member of the Japan Securities Analysts Association.
